Real hip-hop. Real story. From the Bronx to the South β the rise of a true artist.
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Tarel Hunte, known by his stage name Godfather Bone, carries the raw essence of hip-hop in his blood. Spending his early years in Brooklyn, Bone developed a deep connection to the streets and the culture that birthed the genre. By age 13, his voice and vision were already shaped by the rhythm of New York City β a place where survival and self-expression go hand in hand.
At 18, he made a new start in Virginia, where his sound evolved β mixing Northern grit with Southern soul. But life had its lessons: in 2008, Bone spent three years in the penitentiary for selling drugs, an experience that would later refine his perspective and sharpen his lyrical edge. Instead of letting his past define him, he turned it into his power β a story of redemption, hustle, and transformation.
Now based in Atlanta, Godfather Bone represents Virginia Beach and the Bronx with pride. His music is a reflection of every chapter β the struggle, the grind, and the rise. With a sound thatβs raw, authentic, and unapologetically real, Bone is on a mission to take over the rap game and inspire others to turn pain into purpose.
From the Bronx blocks to the ATL streets, Godfather Bone embodies resilience, vision, and leadership β a true product of hip-hopβs evolution and the voice of a generation hungry for something real.
